PCSoft was established in 2005 as a way to service people and businesses who cannot justify the cost of having a full-time on site IT guy to solve all of their problems. The company was created by Peter Kenneally who has over a decade of extensive knowledge and experience managing and supporting IT services for large multinational organisation's such as Deutsche Bank and Philips Electronics.

After conquering the Corporate world, Peter saw a need in helping and providing the same level of service given to large multinational organisation's to small and medium businesses and most importantly Mum's and Dad's. Although large companies can afford to hire their own IT personnel, small businesses, like Peter Kenneally‘s mother and father, who both owned a small business, could not afford this luxury and often lost business when their computers were down. For this reason, he started PCSoft.

“Small business owners cannot justify a full-time on site IT team,” says Peter Kenneally. "And, of course, neither can individuals. But we are all as dependent upon computers and their working properly as large corporations". This is the reason for PCSoft. To give small business owners and individuals, who are growing more and more dependant upon computers every day, a chance to have their own personal “IT“ person on board, without having to pay him all the time to sit around.
